Cottage Street Apartments

I have known Carl Halvorsen owner and managing partner of Cottage Street Apartments, now for about seven years. Carl and his team are hands on ownership. They live locally and are long terms residents of the capital region. The ownership has 150 years of combined multi family experience and set the standard on running a clean, affordable, and great apartment community to live. Our recent solar install was a lot of fun. We are on a total of five roofs, making up a 162.2 KW install. The electricity generated from this system will produce about 25% of the complexes electricity. I applaud the ownership of Cottage Street Apartments for setting a high standard with solar at their property. Additionally, in 2022 we installed 16 Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, throughout the multiple parking lots at the complex facilitating EV Charging to the tenants. This EV Charging Station install, was the largest National Grid Make Ready Utility Subsidy in NY State, in 2022. Hats off to Carl and his team.
