SurfSide Resort – Lake George NY

National Commercial Solar Advisors, Inc is proud to have originated a 200.2 KW rooftop solar project for Surfside on the Lake. The Surfside Resort is the first large scale resort, on Lake George to go solar and incorporate renewables into its property. In 2015, Salim Amersi, owner of the Surfside Resort put 10 million into renovations. In 2022, Mr. Amersi invested over $500,000 into solar. The solar system will cover approximately 20-25% of the resorts annual electrical usage. Multiple rooftops make up the overall project, with about 70% of the system on the main hotel’s flat TPO Roof and the balance being on four different rooftop planes, including one facing Lake George, the Queen of American Lakes. We look forward to many years of environmental stewardship with this solar project on Lake George and the message it sends to the guests and community at large.
